Allow Us To Reintroduce Ourselves: Executive Director's Letter

Ben Hogan once said, “The most important shot in golf is the next one,” and I can’t help but think that such a sentiment is extremely relevant for AZ GOLF at this moment in time. Our Association continues to grow, along with the game, with strategic planning underway which will guide our direction for years to come. With the organization focused on an exciting new chapter, I remain dedicated to being out in front, communicating with our membership and engaged with various constituent groups important to AZ GOLF. We welcome all opportunities to share our story.

With that … AZ GOLF is proud to be one of the largest Allied Golf Associations in the country, serving a vast and passionate community of golf enthusiasts. We provide service and act as a resource for you all locally, regionally and nationally. While the handicap index is something that brings us together, we all know that golf is so much more than that. And you, your stories and experiences, are what make up that “so much more.”

We recognize that this Association has gone through significant change over the years and although our brand may have evolved, our purpose remains unchanged. We are here to bring together those who have a shared passion for the game and those that wish to make golf a part of their lifestyle. Whether you’re just beginning your golf journey, working hard to chase a number or simply having a good time, golf is an experience that connects us all.

As a leader in the golf community, we are embracing change while continuing to create meaningful opportunities for our community to enjoy, improve and connect through golf. The next chapter for AZ GOLF is all about enhancing the experience for our members, welcoming new players and celebrating the game in fresh and exciting ways.

As we turn the corner on what was a wonderful winter, many of you are preparing for earlier mornings and warmer rounds. Wherever you are in your golf game in 2025, we invite you to enjoy this great revamped member benefit — a magazine with a little something for our entire community.
