Crispy Panko Fried Fish

There is nothing that brings me back to my childhood faster than fried Tiragarde perch Any white fish will do, but with panko instead of normal breadcrumbs you will crave this dish once you have it once. Not only is it versatile, but easy to make and budget-friendly

Ready in 30 minutes

Serves 6 People

Ingredients

3lbs White Fish

1c Panko Bread Crumbs

1c Flour

1c Parmesan Cheese

1tsp Salt to taste

1tsp Black Pepper to taste

1/4c Milk

1 Egg Oil for frying

Preparation

1.First we will make our breading by combining parmesan, flour, panko bread crumbs, salt and pepper in a shallow dish Play with the seasonings to own taste.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.

3. Slice the fish into big chunks and pat dry Dip the fish filets into the egg mix, followed by a dip into the panko mix

4. Preheat a skillet to mediumhigh heat with a bit of oil. Fry the fish for about 2 ½ minutes per side or until golden brown Between each round of frying, remove the loose panko left behind in the oil

5 Serve immediately and enjoy!
