C PARVINDERJIT KHANUJA, MD, FACP MD Founding member // Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers // ironwoodcrc.com Dr. Khanuja is a founding member of Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers, the Valley’s largest comprehensive private practice cancer treatment model, with approximately 100 providers in Metro Phoenix. Professional advice: “Stay persistent and do not give in to the naysayers. Get the best education, give 110 percent effort, be kind and humble and never stop learning and adapting.” INDUSTRY OUTLOOK: “Private practice remains challenging, but with the challenges arise opportunities. Today, there are big mergers within the healthcare system and expensive treatments. This is a major concern for providers who have become employees and this inhibits innovation.
