DUBAI MUSIC SCHOOL PROMOTES BREAST CANCER AWARENESS AT LAMCY PLAZA Dubai Music School students performed to promote Breast Cancer awareness at Lamcy Plaza. By Qadeer Ahmad Siddiqui Dubai UAE: amcy Plaza, a community mall under Lals Group in association with Dubai Music School presented a gala evening in their premises to promote Breast Cancer Awareness on Thursday, 30th October, 2014.Young children from the School took centre stage at the mall as they sang and performed to promote the sole cause of B r e a s t Cancer. Founder a n d Director of the school, Glen Perry too was present at the event showcasing his support towards the cause. A music composer & song writer by profession, Glen directed the performance lead by the children.Dressed up in an all pink attire, to promote the cause of the most common cancer in women, the children sang upbeat tracks on a platform decked in pink décor and lustrous pink lights.Mr. Tim Jones, COO of Lamcy Plaza and Arabian Center supported the

EXPO 2020 DUBAI HIGHER COMMITTEE UPDATES BUREAU INTERNATIONAL DES EXPOSITIONS Expo 2020 Preparation and Legacy Plans shared with BIE Executive Committee By Qadeer Ahmad Siddiqui Dubai UAE: oday, Expo 2020 Dubai shared its preliminary plans, priorities and governance with the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), the intergovernmental organization in charge of overseeing the organisation of World and International Expos, as part of Dubai’s ongoing registration as the 2020 World Expo host city.This was the second of many updates required for the official registration of the first Expo to be staged in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA).His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACCP) and Member of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee, shared an update on the newly created Expo 2020 Bureau. The Bureau - established by decree 30/2014 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai - has the mandate to oversee the preparation and delivery of the Expo through

coordinating and planning with national and international stakeholders, formalizing key programming, and setting up critical governance structures. His Excellency also presented an overview of the Expo 2020 Dubai site’s positioning and legacy, highlighting its strategic placement within Dubai and the UAE, especially in context of Dubai World Central - the world's first purpose-built aerotropolis.Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, the UAE's Minister of State, Managing Director of the
