SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS RESOURCES

From,Although the blistering hot weather continues to mock us, and the demands of our adult lives continue to drive the little energy and attention we have -- I invite us to lean into a new year with a new approach of how we integrate the things we are interested in into the limited spaces of our time.

Hi everyone, my name is Aysha Smith, a senior in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Africana Studies, and I’m the president of Psychedelic Radar for this year I’m excited because I have a vision of the community that I

This year, I’m dedicated to taking a community building and integrative approach to the club, inviting everyone to contribute artistically, through volunteer work and policy, through helping to give feedback on what topics are interesting and what kinds of resources would benefit and interest you, and trying to make time and space for all of you to work together and collaborate on exciting opportunities and projects I want everyone who has a vision and idea to have the space to execute it or share it as it pertains to psychedelics and psychedelic medicine -- as well as work towards making the science about it and behind it accessible for whatever you ’ re interested in using it for. I want you to know that you are welcome here, however you show up

I also want to apologize for the late start of trying to rebuild the club and its structure I’ve been working hard behind the scenes with last year ’ s president, Evan Laughlin, to bring to fruition his passion for psychedelic medicine and the desire to instill awareness towards it

It’s been a tough summer and a tough start to the semester, but going forward I am committed to staying in contact with all of you the best that I can, and to be able to provide you with the club experience that you deserve. I hope that this message begins a new start for Psychedelic Radar and its overall mission to provide the student population with accessible information, opportunities, and resources; and hope that those with a similar goal join in and contribute Yours Truly,

Last year, we focused on recruiting a team of writers and editors to help build bridges in scientific communication by summarizing and reviewing research articles, media, etc. related to psychedelics and psychedelic research.

This year, the community’s involvement is much greater. The opportunity to write and present research that interests you is still there -but, just as how we are dedicated to expanding awareness about psychedelics, we are also dedicated to expanding your realm of expression.

You can suggest a source or search for resources through a growing database and library of psychedelic and psychedelic medicine-related organizations, media, laboratories, and more. These resources are meant to give you insight and a number of different pathways to explore based on your interests and career goals. Whether you’re interested in the cultural implications and competency of psychedelic medicine, providing psychedelic-assisted therapy, or looking for a class to help expand your knowledge -- the PR resources database will be there for you and all your psychedelic needs.
