RDS DATACASTING AND TAGGING

RDS E3 is a dynamic RDS encoder which supports all services and features of advanced use.

RDS E3 supports the most advanced RDS dynamic services, including TMC, ODA, IH, TDC, EWS, Radio Text and Radio Text plus. In addition to standard CENELEC NRSC methods, RDS programming has been enriched with larger PS and RT sets (also available in dynamic mode) with powerful scheduling capabilities.

GPS satellite receiver, such as our SAT TIME SYNCHRONIZER, can broadcast local time info as part of the RDS data. RDS service carries out also 4 IH (InHouse Application) remote controls, that can be used to start advertising breaks on distant networks, to split broadcasting areas, to activate/deactivate recorders.

FINGERPRINTING is the process of extracting unique characteristics of the content. This unique characteristic is used to identify the media. When the Fingerprint of the input source matches with a Fingerprint in the database, detection is registered and reported.

PEACOCK SUPERVISOR is the global control engine to keep always under control the health-status of your automated system or structured network.

An Information Technology infrastructure generates massive amounts of data and PEACOCK SUPERVISOR collects all the workstation status data in realtime, whether physical, networked or via remote. Data comes to PEACOCK SUPERVISOR as files, serial data, TCP/IP, devices and GPI/O logic status.

SAT TIME SYNCHRONIZER is the most cost effective solution to automatically synchronize the PC clock with exact and absolute time received from GPS satellites (GMT – Greenwich Mean Time).

SAT TIME SYNCHRONIZER is very useful in all those applications where it is necessary to have the precise and reliable current time (i.e. Time Code generation, A/V recording monitoring and certification for law obligations and data logging, time signalling in TV and radio stations, etc.).

The software and hardware installation is fast and easy and even not skilled technicians can operate it correctly.

Normally you just need to place the receiver next to a window and connect it to a PC through a serial cable.

SAT TIME SYNCHRONIZER doesn’t need external power supply: it is powered directly by the PC power supply through a special adapter (supplied).

The control software can be installed on any PC running Windows o.s. and featuring a free serial port.

The interface shows the main time

The current time reference can also be shared among all the PCs connected to a LAN. MR. LIGHT Classic is a compact and efficient signalling device, ideal for radio studios, recording suites, TV and radio control rooms, and many more.

An internal high intensity LED array provides optimal visibility in any environmental light condition.

As an option, MR. LIGHT is also available in the “double sided” version, featuring two illuminated faces.

Warning texts (such as “On-Air”, “Silence”, etc.) are printed on transparent films and can be chosen from the standard range or customized for your application.

The display can be constantly illuminated or blinking and easily modified by replacing the film.

With the included bracket, MR. LIGHT classic is easily mounted on the wall on to the ceiling.

An optional, additional bracket is available to allow an easy “flag” mounting.

For easier installation and operation, MR. LIGHT Classic just requires a simple DC supply of between 12 and 15 Volts.

The optional power supply can provide enough power to operate a maximum of three units, with any combination of constant or blinking operation.

It also allows for easy control via TTL or clean contacts on photocouplers (separate for each lamp) and makes MR. LIGHT Classic suitable for any audio console or control device.

Thanks to the separate installation of the power supply, you will avoid any long AC main cable runs across the walls or close to the studio’s ceiling. Alternatively to the dedicated power supply, MR. LIGHT Classic lamps may also fed by any regular stabilized DC voltage.
