This project presents a management plan for Thailand's mangrove forest research centre. Mangrove forests are important to coastal areas and act as filters for water pollution and animal shelters. The main vision is to return the degraded area to function as a more complete, fully functional ecotourism destination through long-term management plans focusing on environmental, social and financial objectives for sustainable management.
Emphasis is placed on looking at the impacts, project conditions and current management using SWOT analysis to find management approaches that promote the project to be as realistic as possible, including maintaining it to remain within perfect condition. The 10-year focus will be on mangrove species, fauna, amenities and activities that enhance the image of the project.
