Szanowni Państwo, Podczas tegorocznej edycji Międzynarodowych Targów Gastronomicznych EuroGastro 2014 będę miał przyjemność zaprosić Państwa do uczestnictwa w VI-ej, edycji mojego, autorskiego Konkursu Sztuki Kulinarnej „Kulinarny Talent 2014”. Celem przedsięwzięcia jest wyłonienie wybitnych talentów kulinarnych spośród kucharzy i uczniów szkół gastronomicznych. Konkurs jest również formą aktywizacji i stymulacji rozwoju zawodowego, a także poszukiwania nowych kierunków w gastronomii. Jak wiemy strefa kulinarna i gastronomiczna stanowi doskonałą formę promocji dla firm partnerskich i sponsorskich. Konkurs jest skierowany do bardzo młodych ludzi, którzy nie przekroczyli jeszcze 23 roku życia. To wśród nich chcemy odkrywać prawdziwe perełki kulinarne. Ale to nie wszystko. By wziąć udział w tym konkursie, nie wystarczy samo zgłoszenie. Niezbędna jest rekomendacja szefa kuchni lub nauczyciela. Innymi słowy, dana osoba musi być zauważona przez doświadczonego szefa kuchni/ nauczyciela i uzyskać od niego referencje. Zależy nam na promocji młodych, utalentowanych ludzi, z drugiej strony na przywróceniu należytego szacunku w relacji mistrz-uczeń. Młody, choćby najbardziej utalentowany kucharz musi mieć swego mentora i nauczyciela, który dostrzeże jego zdolności i pomoże je rozwinąć we właściwym kierunku, pomoże zaistnieć w branży. Mój konkurs będzie sprzyjał kształtowaniu takiej pozytywnej współpracy. Rekomendacja szefa kuchni, to również gwarancja odpowiedniego poziomu konkursu. Szef wskazując młodego kucharza daje niejako swoją rękojmię, że ta osoba rzeczywiście reprezentuje wysoki poziom. Jednym słowem, ma talent!
Ladies and Gentlemen, During this year’s edition of the International Food Service Trade Fair EuroGastro 2014, I will have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the 5th edition of my Contest of Culinary Art “Culinary Talent 2014” The goal of the event is to select distinguished culinary talent among chefs and students of culinary schools. The contest is also a form of activation and stimulation of professional growth and searching for new directions in gastronomy. As we know, culinary and gastronomy spheres are excellent forms of promotion for partner companies and sponsors. The contest is targeted at very young people, under the age of 23. Among them, we wish to discover true culinary gems. But that’s not all. In order to take part in the contest, it is not enough to apply. It is necessary to provide recommendation of a kitchen’s chef or teacher. In other words, each contestant must have been noticed by an experienced chef or teacher and provide references. It is important for us to promote young, talented people and at the same time bring back proper respect in the master-student relationship. A young, even the most talented chef, must have a mentor and teacher, who will notice his skills, develop them in the right direction and help him rise in the industry. My contest will foster development of such positive cooperation. A recommendation from a kitchen chef is also a guarantee of a proper level of the contest. A chef provides a sort of guarantee, that this person represents a high level. In one word: the contestant has a talent!
