When you make a donation to the Arvada West High School Choir, you become part of a larger group of active supporters in the Arvada arts community! Your contribution ensures the best educational experience for our student-singers through new music, professional collaborations, voice lessons, camp scholarships, leadership training, and group travel.
Music Changes Lives.
Beyond learning notes and rhythms, our singers are developing skills and essential characteristics for a successful future. The choir classroom provides a safe space for students to express themselves, take risks, and collaborate with others. We inspire confidence, build effective communication, promote analytical reasoning and problem-solving in addition to learning vocal technique and theory. With your help, we can continue to create art for the Arvada community and you will be instrumental in bringing our song to life!

Jessica Black is the accompanist for the choirs at Gallatin High School in Bozeman, Montana Growing up in central Illinois, she got her start accompanying when her high school choir director needed someone to play for the musical She enjoyed singing in Wheaton College’s choirs and making music with her family and friends along the way.
Jessica earned a B.A. in elementary education (Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL) and spent some years teaching before having a family. About ten years ago life led her and her husband back to the ranch that he grew up on in Gallatin Gateway, just outside of Bozeman.
Now that two of their four children are out of the house, Jessica has more time for teaching piano lessons, playing piano for church, and leading her local 4-H club (all of her children have raised market animals and completed other projects in Gallatin County 4-H) This is her second year accompanying the GHS choirs, and she considers it a pleasure and a dream job come true
