Abingdon & Witney College have high aspirations for every learner. By providing timely and appropriate support, our SEND Support team are here to help you be the best version of you!
Our support plans are different for every new learner. They will be based on your Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), SEND support plan or through information you share with us and may include:
• One to one or shared learning support in the classroom
• FEAST (Further Education Autism Specialist T eam)
• Therapy provision including speech and language, occupational therapy and physiotherapy
• Specialist teachers to support with dyslexia, dyscalculia and exam access arrangements
• Local Authority SENSS support for visual and hearing impairments
• Assistive technology
• Social interaction and communication groups
• Qualified and experienced SENCOs
• Experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
• Study Coaches and Community Learning Instructors
