Whether you’re after a family break or a couple’s escape, this Hayling Island gem has you covered. Enjoy the gorgeous swimming pool, relax in the Missing Squirrel Lounge & Bar or explore the beautiful surroundings. Holiday homes include exclusive options with hot tubs, landscaped areas, double parking and Wi-Fi.

Mill Rythe is also an eco-development, powered by renewable energy with EV charging points and options for all-electric homes. The playground uses natural materials and even the milk comes in glass bottles to reduce waste. Families will love the outdoor cinema, chilled acoustic sets in the bar and loads of PLAY activities for little ones.

Hampshire

Hayling Island has all the charm of a classic seaside break, with miles of unspoilt coastline, gorgeous countryside and plenty of sports and leisure adventures. Things to consider

Budget

Unless you’ve just won the lottery, it’s best to find a caravan or lodge that suits your budget. Our team will guide you through the options.

Finance

Once you’ve fallen in love with Mill Rythe Coastal Village, a pitch and a holiday home, it’s time to talk payment. Some customers have savings, others use a bank loan. We’re also a licensed Credit Brokers and, subject to your personal circumstances, we can put you in touch with specialist lenders in this field.

Subletting

Want your holiday home to help pay for itself? Our managed letting scheme lets you sublet to holidaymakers. We’ll explain how it works and what you could earn.

Owner privileges

Holiday home ownership comes with plenty of perks. You’ll get full use of the park facilities, invitations to complimentary owners’ brunches and fancy evening soirees such as and cheese and wine parties, champagne and strawberries and more.

Annual Running Costs

Like any home (or car, boat or helicopter) there are ongoing running costs. We’ll help you factor those into your budget.

There is an annual pitch fee paid by all holiday home owners which covers:

• Up to eight owners passes that give you FREE access to use of the park facilities. (a few activities carry a small charge)

• Use of the indoor heated swimming pool.

• Use of our family entertainment venues.

• Exclusive owners parties and events throughout the season.

• Use of your holiday home from 1st March - 15th January

• 12 month holiday use is available at an additional £425 on top of listed pitch fees. (Your holiday home cannot be used as a main residence)

We also carry out other duties that are covered by the pitch fee which include:

• Park landscaping and gardening services

• Refuse disposal

• Road and drainage maintenance

• Park street lighting

• Park security systems

*Mill Rythe is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 947545). We act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction of customers to a limited number of finance providers. We do not charge a fee for this service but we may receive commission from the finance providers we introduce customers to. Finance is subject to status and income, Applicants must be 18 or over. Pitch fee and loyalty discount*

Caravan pitch fees from £5,681

Lodge pitch fees from £11,681

Pitch fees are charged on a pro-rata basis from the date of purchase and then annually. You are welcome to choose to pay via our monthly direct debit scheme and conveniently spread payment over 10 months.

*The loyalty discount is available exclusively to owners who purchase directly from Away Resorts.

The following charges are also made to all holiday home owners and are reviewed annually.

Annual Rates

Includes local authority rates and water charges. These annual rates run from April 1st to March 31st charged on a pro-rata basis from the date of purchase and then annually. £520 per year

Electricity

Electricity is charged as used for all holiday homes.

Gas

Gas is charged as used for all holiday homes.

Other costs

These include winterisation and insurance.

You can’t buy a holiday home from a brochure. You need to come have a nosey, get a feel for the park, soak up the atmosphere and meet the neighbours.

What happens when you visit?

1 Arrive at Mill Rythe Coastal Village and enjoy a much-needed tea or coffee (and possibly even biscuits).

2 We ask you lots of questions to understand what you’re looking for. If we’re asking too many questions, start yawning and we’ll stop.

3 Have “the money chat” about costs and options.

FAQs

How quickly can I move in after purchase?

We get it, once you’ve found your holiday home, you’ll want to move in asap. If yours is already on park, decked, and you’ve paid in full, you’ll be in within 14 days (often sooner). If your home needs to be decked, or is coming direct from the manufacturer, this typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. We’ll prep it as soon as it arrives and keep you updated every step of the way. Either way, the perfect upgrade to your downtime won’t be far away!

How long is the park open?

All owners can enjoy the park all year round!

Will my holiday home be covered by warranty?

Yes. Whether it’s brand new, ex-demo, or pre-loved, you’ll enjoy peace of mind with our exclusive 3-year warranty package. At Away Resorts, age really doesn’t matter, we’ve got you covered.

How long will the park tour take?

As long (or as short) as you like. We’ll happily show you everything, but it’s your day. Feel free to bring your family along if you’d like to turn your tour into a mini adventure!

From the A27 near Havant, take the A3023 signposted Hayling Island for nearly three miles. At the start of the approach to the roundabout turn left onto the road signposted Mill Rythe. The entrance is immediately in front of you. Nearest coach and railway station: Havant, 3 miles away.
