Mersea Island Holiday Park presents
Park Life Hello and welcome to your first Owner’s Newsletter of 2022! It’s great to be back with lots to look forward to this year, we have the Shop in Guest Services area being refurbished with an updated range of products on offer that we hope you will enjoy. And over the winter we have refreshed The Muddy Duck with brand new tables and chairs, General Manager with now a consistent Pizza offering in place for both eat-in or Take-away.

The Swimming Pool has also had works in rendering and re-painting, plus we have invested significantly in upgraded electrical supply to many more Holiday Homes, and later on this year will be continuing our re-surfacing programme of the roads on park to bring them all up to the same standard over the next couple of seasons. Park standards and presentation are so important to Away Resorts, our team dedicate a lot of time and care to ensure that the park is always looking it’s best. To help us to achieve this, please ensure that you are following the Pitch Standards as laid out in your Purchase Agreement; if you would like a copy of this then please do not hesitate to ask a member of the team who will be happy to help.

What’s happening at
It has been a pleasure to see many of you at our Owner’s Start of Season Party! What a fantastic evening this was, and it was great to see so many of our Owners having a great time. A big thank you to the team that helped to pull this and our other events together. We have a lot more events going ahead this season with details found in this Newsletter. If you have friends that come to visit you at Mersea Island and stay on park, you may want to recommend our new accommodation offering of the “Heartwood”, previously Exclusive to our Sandy Balls site in the New Forest, this luxury Holiday Home has been bespoke designed by Away Resorts and comes with decking and a hot tub for a perfect escape! We also have a number of amazing brand new 2022 model Holiday Homes available to view if you were thinking about part-exchanging. On Behalf of all of us at Mersea Island, I would like to wish you all and your families a fantastic season ahead with us, and a Happy Easter. We have an easter egg waiting for you to collect (one per holiday home) in Guest Services! So please do pop in to collect yours from Wednesday 13th April, we will keep the eggs here for collection until Sunday 24th April. See you soon!
