Mill Rythe Coastal Village presents

Merry Christmas to all our Owners

Park Life Wow, what a year it has been! I remember early May preparing to open the doors to the all-new Mill Rythe on the 17th of May (at this point we were still waiting for the grass to be laid) and crossing my fingers that we would make it. Thankfully, we did, and we haven’t looked back at all.

We welcomed our very first Owners Sharon and Jenny at the start of June and have gone on to welcome over 26 Owners in the last 5 months. This really goes to show just how loved Mill Rythe continues to be.

It was delightful to see so many Owners at our first Owners event at the start of November, I felt a real sense of pride with the community we are building here between not only our Owners but also with the whole team. A special thank you to Carmen Iuganu who organised this debut Owner event, she really does put her heart and soul into everything she does, and we are very lucky to have her. 2021 has been a difficult year for so many of us and I am looking forward to 2022 and beyond where I hope the pressures on stock and materials start to ease. I hope you share my excitement for 2022 and Phase 2, which has already commenced ready for Easter 2022. With the

success of the Missing Squirrel, I am so excited to get the keys to our newest Restaurant and Entertainment venue. We will further develop the outside spaces by the rear of the pool and introduce a Splash Pad and an outdoor seating area for the new restaurant, complete with fire pits, so get your marshmallows ready! We will also be building more holiday home pitches and opening the nature reserve towards the seaward side of the park. This will be perfect for people to enjoy afternoon walks to the lake to unwind and spot all manner of wildlife. We have various other schemes and landscaping works planned, which we will update you on soon. This year we will also further our plans to be more environmentally friendly with the addition of solar panels to be installed onto the roof of the Leisure Centre, we will be changing our LPG to a new blended BioLPG for the areas of the park that rely on gas, and we are working with various environmental specialists to make sure our landscaping, especially the nature reserve, is as friendly as possible for flowers and wildlife to blossom. Any trees that are removed will be sent to be used as biofuel locally, and any we relocate will be replaced within the landscaping project for phase 2. We will also be removing all single use plastic from our food and beverage venues from January. The team and I wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope you join me on New Year’s Eve to raise a glass to a successful but somewhat unusual 2021 and celebrate the start of what is set to be an amazing 2022.
