There's an endless array of social gatherings

AWA has 12 different social groups that provide a great way to meet others while enjoying tasty food, playing a game or having a fascinating discussion about a new book. Below are the descriptions of all of our social groups and how to find more information about joining them.

Do you like to socialize over food and drink?

Drop-In Coffee – If you’re looking for a gateway into the AWA, Drop-In Coffee is a great place to start, whether you are a prospective, new or seasoned member. We meet every week and look forward to having you join us for a coffee and a chat. coffee@ awasingapore.org

Drop-In Drinks – If you are interested in socializing with other members in the evening, then join us for a drink (or two) at one of our Drop-In Drinks held regularly throughout the year. barnight@awasingapore.org DISH - Fancy being a lady who lunches? Love trying the latest restaurants? Self-identify as a foodie? Then AWA DISH is for you! DISH is our very popular monthly social luncheon and a great way to socialize while trying out some of the best restaurants around town. dish@awasingapore.org High Tea - Pinkies up, ladies! Mahjong - Looking to embrace your inner Crazy Rich Asian? Our AWA Mahjong group is very popular with both daytime and evening play. And if you don’t know a Crazy Chow from the Three Great Scholars, then give one of our Mahjong Learn to Play Lessons offered throughout the year a try. You won’t want to miss AWA Mahjong’s annual holiday and end of season parties. Do you enjoy solving riddles? Do you know movies, television, and actors? Or do you just like to socialize? If you answered yes to any of these, then AWA Trivia is for you! A fun social game of Mahjong Bunco - Looking for an easy game with no skill involved? Book Groups - If you love to read and want to meet some new friends, join one of our AWA Book Groups. Our Book Groups meet monthly, and we have groups that meet in the morning, afternoon and evening to accommodate all types of schedules.
