As you will see from this magazine and from our website, we have a lot of varied activities, and everyone can find a place within this 85-year-old organization to have fun, get acclimated and be comfortable, and have an enriched experience while living here as guests of this beautiful country, Singapore.

The motto of the American Women’s Association is “all women, all walks of life, all nationalities,” which is absolutely true for the 750 or so members, with over 40 different nationalities, of this special sisterhood. American Women’s Association is a sisterhood of women from around the world, who come together fulfilling, volunteer-run events and activities.” The AWA, as an organization, strives for the “best day,” and our amazing volunteers make this happen time and time again.

As President of this wonderful organization, I want community service and inclusion to be important this year, given the seemingly chaotic world around us. activities at this juncture, we will do our best to offer virtual and real activities to help old-comers and newcomers alike to enjoy a fulfilled and meaningful life on the Red Dot. We will seek to offer larger attendance at events as soon as it is safe and we are able. Be well!
