B TOP EXAM RESULTS Avondale College has been advised of very pleasing exam results achieved by our students in 2016. In brief, our NCEA results are higher than ever before across every level; and strong Scholarship results were received - particularly in the subjects of Biology, Languages, Art and Dance. In the Cambridge International Examinations our students came top in New Zealand in four different subjects: A Level History and Psychology and AS Psychology and Business... a great achievement! JOIN IN @AVCOL Budding Shakespearean actors, philosophers, debaters, gardeners, indoor bowlers, musicians, dancers and more all had the chance to find their niche at the Join in @ Avcol event held in the Atrium at lunchtime today. Hundreds of students took the opportunity to find out more about the many activities on offer here at Avondale, and with more than 38 stalls (not including the many sports groups!) there was something to appeal to everyone. Students should keep an eye on the Daily Notices for more information about the groups they have signed up for.
