3. If the valve is changed, refurbish the old one and thoroughly wash every component with hydraulic fluid or the appropriate solvent. Check for dirt and dings. Examine the valve for wear, abrasive surfaces, and corrosion. Make it slick, lap it, and then reassemble it.
4. To prevent moisture, rain, and rust, the valve should always store oil in an area that is dry and well-ventilated.
5. When being transported or stored, the closing device should be in place with the opening and closing components inside.
