Agent Hires Jetski Stunt Guy to do Flips in a Pool for Marketing!

A seven-bedroom mansion listed for $4.9 million comes with all the usual high-end amenities expected in luxe estates - stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood and marble floors.

But it's the pool that is one of the greatest standouts of the Parkland home whose sale is being handled by Austin Bergman of the Carroll Group.

At 140,000 gallons, it includes a swim-up bar, Jacuzzi with waterfalls and fire features.

"It's the largest pool I've ever seen in a private residence," Bergman said. "When I first saw it I said to myself I need a jet ski in the pool, so I went on a hunt. I put Jet Ski in a pool into google and one stunt guy popped up named Mark Gomez, only one problem he lives in Arizona. I reached out to Gomez anyway to see if he had any ideas. He just so happened to be doing the Florida state fair and just so happen to have all his ski's with him."

I met Gomez and his sponsor Black Rifle Coffee at the home for the shoot, after numerous backflips, front flips and huge waves coming out of the pool we had what we needed.

Common backyard pool sizes are more in the 20,000-gallon to 39,600-gallon range.

Still, while 140,000 gallons is nothing to sneeze at, it's not the largest residential pool in the U.S. The Tampa Bay Times featured a 200,000-gallon pool in a story last year.

But the mother of all pools may live in El Campo, Texas.

According to Curbed.com, a mansion in El Campo boasts a "tropical getaway" that includes a 750,000-gallon pool with a 500-foot lazy river and six waterfalls.

To compare, an Olympic size swimming pool has about 660,250 gallons of water.

Bergman's listing at 7272 NW 62nd Terrace has 11,794 total square feet on 2.2 acres of land. Built in 1999, taxes last year came in at $37,759.

In attendance were the former U.S. Ambassador to Israel and his wife David and Tammy Friedman, the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava, and Mark Gerson the Chairman of United Hatzalah and Co-Founder of the Gerson-Lehrman Group. he event was the 1st of its kind for the organization since the onset of the Corona pandemic and took place at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Aventura, Florida. The event featured an inspiring speech by Keynote Speaker, COO of Meta, and author of the best-selling books Lean In and Option B, Sheryl Sandberg, daughter of Adele and Dr. Joel Sandberg. In honor of her parents, Sandberg and her fiancé Tom Bernthal made a donation of $5 million to the organization to name the Adele and Joel Sandberg Women's Unit.

More than 500 people attended the event, which adhered to strict Coronavirus protocols, and succeeded in raising $18 million to help support the lifesaving work done in Israel which is undertaken by volunteers around the country around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition to the address by Sheryl Sandberg, the event, which was chaired by Tila Falic Levi, also featured performances by Gad Elbaz, Chico Castillo, and DJ Aviel.

President and Founder of United Hatzalah Eli Beer said: "A strong relationship exists between the people of Miami and United Hatzalah, and myself personally. After I got sick with Covid-19 the Doctors here in Miami University Hospital saved my life. My good friends Adele and Dr. Joel Sandberg were a major part of my recovery, thanks to them I made it through my ordeal. The relationship became stronger during the collapse of the Champlain Towers, a tragedy that affected the entire community of Miami, when United Hatzalah volunteers from the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit rushed to assist the family members, neighbors, community members, and first responders, who were affected by the horrible tragedy that took place here."

Beer continued, "Now we have come together once more to strengthen the bonds of friendship and life-saving even further. It is because of the women and men who drop whatever they are doing and rush to help others, no matter what time of day or night, and where the emergency may be, whether in Israel, or right here in Miami, and likewise because of the people who come out to events like this to support them that we are able to save as many people as we can. Together, we are a force for good in a world that needs each and every one of us to help and support each other, especially in times of crisis."

Born and raised in the city of Mainz along the Rhine River in west-central Germany, Brandt's passion for cooking began at an early age. At just 12-years-old, he prepared his first three-course meal for his mother's birthday. The culinary career that soon followed took him to multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany, including work with Herbert Brockel* at Stage Husarenquartier in Erftstadt-Lechenich; Manfred Schwarz* at Schwarz Das Restaurant in Heidelberg; and Harald Wohlfahrt*** at Restaurant Schwarzwaldstube in Baiersbronn.

Since then, Brandt has worked with notable chefs including Michelin three-star chef Jean-Georges Klein at Restaurant L'Arnsbourg; Stefan Stiller** at Stiller's Restaurant and Cooking School in 2010; Jordi Cruz** at Restaurant ABaC in Barcelona, Spain; Christian Bau*** at Victor's Fine Dining in Perl-Nennig; among others. In 2013, Brandt assumed the role of Managing Director of Engelhorn Gastro GmbH in Mannheim, Germany, the start of a seven-year run overseeing a team 130 operating nine restaurants and bars including OPUS V, for which he was honored with two Michelin stars, and Le Corange, which has a Michelin star as well. During this time, he also published his first cookbook, Tristan Brandt – Restaurant in Mode, awarded a Gold Medal by Gastronomischen Akademie Deutschland (GAD) in 2019.
