"PAPA JOHN" SCHNATTER: WHAT BIDEN ADMINISTRATION'S DOING TO SMALL BUSINESSES "INFURIATES ME"

Appearing on a panel at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, John "Papa John" Schnatter, founder and former CEO of Papa Johns International, criticized the Biden administration's approach to the economy, which he argued is especially bad for small business owners.

CONTRIBUTING WRITERS

"I grew up and started Papa Johns in 1984, which was Reagonomics I mean, how lucky was I?" Schnatter told moderator Natalie Harp "I think attitude and the mindset starts at the top You know, you take Reagan, you take Trump, they loved small business. You look at the Biden administration, I can't think of anything they've done that doesn't hurt that small business owner," Schnatter continued. "The mindset, the attitude at the top is anti small business," he said. "When you've built something from nothing, you have your heart…you have empathy for what it takes to run a small business. And to see them do this to the small business owners infuriates me, frankly," said Schnatter.

Schnatter's comments came during a panel discussion about cancel culture. Schnatter was one of the earliest high profile victims of cancel culture when he stepped down as chairman of Papa Johns following the release of a leaked tape containing a soundbite that was taken out of context and manipulated to falsely portray Schnatter as a racist Schnatter reflected on how corporate America is complicit in cancel culture.

"Papa John's was the American Dream. And we were the perfect first target," Schnatter said. "I had a Board of Directors that was really weak. Actually, I was behind enemy lines and didn't know it. So you have the target aspect, and you have people around you who let this happen, and before you know it you have a disaster."

“Former Judge offers Complimentary Service to Those in Need – Let John P. Contini Mediate Your Case or Do Your Lawyer Shopping!”

Hi, I’m John Contini! As a former Judge I can tell you what the judge in your case will be looking for or considering when making a decision in your case I can give you this helpful insider like perspective as to what the Judges today are interested in seeing and hearing, only because I was one of them — and though I won't give you legal advice, I can do one better: I can give you that needed perspective as to what your Judge will want and need to see and hear, before deciding whether to rule in your favor I am uniquely positioned to connect you with the right lawyer for your situation

Choosing the right lawyer can be a challenge, not unlike finding the right contractor for your home, if only for home improvements. Do you simply look at fancy websites, or talk with a referral service, or do you also talk with other people in the construction business who you trust, other General Contractors and subcontractors who KNOW the very best workers, and most honest home repair contractors?

Lawyer referral services are like dating sites, I’m told not active in helping you choose the right person or lawyer Those sites simply compile the list of eligible candidates in one very large data base, and then it’s up to YOU to browse and choose the one you’d like to meet based on what the candidates say about themselves, whether they sell you on their overall appearance or whatever else they represent about their abilities, etc. BUT:

I will not provide you with any legal advice, but as a former Judge, I will provide you instead with something more helpful and more valuable, and that is, HOW a Judge thinks, or best yet, WHAT your Judge will be looking for and needing to see and hear, BEFORE ruling in your favor and I’ll simply share this knowledge with you at no charge, just to be of help to you.

Why risk choosing a lawyer rather blindly (based on a google web site search, or what a friend tells you?) when you can know the best lawyer for your situation from the Judge who presided over ALL the lawyers! " www.ContiniSolutions.com Call me, John Contini, @ 954.937.3134, anytime. I’ll be blessed to help you and your family! Thank you.

An Amazing Woman with an Amazing Husband is Running for Office!

Anna Paulina Luna is a strong independent leader, earning her stripes by serving her country, not by serving herself. Raised by a single mother in Southern California's low-income neighborhoods, Anna learned that she must work hard and be independent to succeed.

Although never married, Anna's mother and father separated when she was very young. Anna's father suffered from severe drug addiction and, early on, had asked her mother to have an abortion. But Anna's mother chose life As a result, Anna and her mother were on their own During Anna's childhood and teen years, her father struggled and spent time in and out of incarceration. Most of how her communication with him during these times was through letters to jail and collect calls. Her grandmother died of HIV/AIDS contracted from heroin use.

By age nine, Anna had experienced an armed robbery and survived. While Anna was on campus at one of the six high schools she attended, a fatal gang shooting occurred. Her young cousin was murdered while Anna was a teenager. And as a young adult, Anna was the victim of a home invasion. These types of stories are all too common in America's low-income, inner city communities, like where Anna grew up. Anna's way out was joining the military. While serving in the United States Air Force, Anna met her husband, Andy. He is a Bronze Star recipient who earned a Purple Heart when enemy combatants shot him in Afghanistan. After recovering, Andy redeployed to fight ISIS in the Middle East.

After his injury, Anna and Andy became involved with several veteran-focused and veteran-led non-profit organizations, including one whose mission is to end child trafficking through rescue and recovery operations

As she became more deeply involved in that work, Anna began to use her social media platform to speak out against the problem of human and child trafficking across the southern border. And she was shocked to immediately be attacked as a racist and called "white washed" due to her light skin - despite being a 2nd generation American and a descendent of Mexican immigrants on her mother and father's side

She resolved to speak out even more about the humanitarian crisis enabled by porous borders And people began to take notice. Just as Anna was to begin medical school, Charlie Kirk reached out and asked her to join Turning Point U.S.A as the National Director of Hispanic Engagement. Faced with a tough choice, Anna consulted with one of her mentors, a neurosurgeon, who counseled her that she would impact far more people's lives for the better by shaping legislation than she could in an entire career as a physician. And so, she chose to begin her career as an advocate.

As her profile rose, Anna was somewhat surprised that the elitists who run most of America's big media outright refused to let her share her right leaning views on border security, the failings of the welfare system, and many other issues. She was particularly shocked at their treatment of her as a mixed-race minority herself.

That was Anna's "aha" moment!!!

Anna decided to run for Congress because she recognized that the media had to cover what was going on in Capitol Hill

As someone who has lived experience with the problems that plague many of America's communities, especially lowincome and minority ones, Anna is committed to showing people that there is another way and that big government is primarily the problem, not the solution.

Anna learned that the hard way through her lived experience

Anna is running for Congress because she wants to enact reforms to create real solutions for these types of real world problems. She will fight every day against the elitist political establishment that has for far too long left average Americans behind. find her at: voteannapaulina.com

Doyle Remains on Ballot Following Frivolous Attempt to Remove Him

Commonwealth Court Judge Patricia McCullough ordered 12th Congressional District Candidate Mike Doyle's name to remain on the ballot and awarded him costs and attorney's fees to be assessed to the individuals who filed the objection

The ruling follows a two day trial that included a line by line review of the signatures.

Congressional Candidate Mike Doyle made the following statement:

Together, working with an outstanding and committed group of volunteers, we collected just over 1300 signatures in two weeks. Today, efforts by a D.C. extreme left law firm, and the special interests behind them, had their frivolous attempt to challenge our petitions tossed by the court.

I'm grateful that the court agreed that we filed with more than enough signatures to appear on the ballot and voters of the 12th Congressional District will have the ability to vote for an independent candidate who will bring a commonsense conservative approach to Washington, D.C. I'm looking forward to formally launching my campaign soon and bring my message of opportunity and leadership to every community in the district.

Allegheny County Republican Chairman Sam Demarco made the following Statement:

Left wing attorney Marc Elias couldn't help himself. The judicial activists on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court already chose Elias' gerrymandered congressional map intended to elect allies of President Biden's left wing agenda. Elias then sent his attorneys into the 12th Congressional district to suppress the voices of Republican voters who demand to have a quality candidate on the ballot. After drawing our congressional maps, Elias now wants to pick our candidates. I'm proud that Mike Doyle stood up to this attack.

The Democrat's desperate attempt to knock Mike Doyle off the ballot is telling… It shows they are scared. They know that Mike Doyle is well poised to defeat whichever of the far left and socialist activists that the democrats put up as their candidate in the May Primary Pennsylvanians don't appreciate these blatant attempts to disenfranchise the voices of the 1000 plus Republicans who signed Mike Doyle's petition. They are eager to send D.C. a message by electing Mike Doyle to Congress and firing Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Westmoreland County Republican Chairman Bill Bretz made the following statement: It is absurd that the democrats have abused the legal system to bring this frivolous challenge to Mike Doyle's candidacy. The arguments brought forward included the attempt to throw out the signatures of many voters because they felt the signature was illegible Among the many unsuccessfully challenged signatures were a sitting County Commissioner and his spouse, two former County GOP Chairs, a Republican State Committeeman, and many other dedicated volunteers of our party.

It is unlikely that the democratic operatives behind this fastidious review of petition signatures will carry over their recent epiphany on the significance of signature verification to join us in supporting the reinstatement of such security measures on mail in ballots and universal Voter ID as cornerstones of election integrity going forward rather than just this cynical and opportunistic attempt to knock a rival off the ballot with frivolous litigation in hopes that the courts do what they can't do at the ballot box defeat Republicans.

Florida Leaders Join Forces to Tackle Fatherhood Crisis

Tallahassee, FL /February 16, 2022 Today, Commissioner Jack Brewer, joined Florida Speaker of the House, Rep. Chris Sprowls in support of House Bill 7065, a bill aiming to tackle the fatherless crisis in the state of Florida.

“There’s a fatherless problem in every state when you have a culture that doesn’t hold Dads accountable, and you have government programs that disincentive the family,” said Jack Brewer, Commissioner, Federal Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys and Founder of The Jack Brewer Foundation. “I have youth programs in Broward County, and I am dealing with kids every single day that have significant problems as a direct result of not having a strong family home structure for these children to go home to. It’s just not right. As Americans, who have the blessings that God has given us, we must stand for the voiceless. We have 18 million fatherless kids in our nation, we should all be embarrassed by that.”

H B 7065 will provide over $70 million in funding for various initiatives such as financial assistance to struggling fathers and mentoring programs for at risk boys. It funds various programs to help single fathers meet their child support commitments and become selfsufficient. The bill also provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations in neighborhoods that run leadership programs for children and increases the state's Postsecondary Education Supports and Services job college readiness program for foster children.

“From poverty to crime to incarceration, just about every negative outcome we see for young boys and men in today’s society is in part due to an absent father,” said Speaker Sprowls. “We cannot legislate fatherhood, responsibility or character. But we can direct some state resources to ensure that fathers, father figures and mentors have the support they need to be inspired, equipped, and excited about being present and active in their children’s lives. Today, we are making historic investments toward this critical goal and calling on all Florida men to rise up and be the fathers and role models our sons need.”

Commissioner Jack Brewer Joins Florida Speaker in Support of the Fatherless Bill

ATLANTA

Herschel Walker recently secured two more major endorsements from top Republican leaders. Last week, U.S. Senator Tim Scott announced on Hannity that he was proudly endorsing Herschel for U.S. Senate.

“He’s a conservative,” Senator Scott said. “This is an opportunity for Georgia to get it right. We’re going to elect Herschel Walker, take back the Senate, and then the best is yet to come.”

Herschel was also proud to be endorsed by Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich.

“I am proudly endorsing Herschel Walker to be the next United States Senator from the great state of Georgia,” Speaker Gingrich said. “We need more people like Herschel in Washington – hardworking, genuinely good people with a proven track record of success. Herschel is a legend in my home state of Georgia, and it’s not just because of his tremendous success on the football field. He is a businessman, a philanthropist, a community leader, and will make Georgia proud as our next United States Senator.”

Dems’ Spending is Burning Holes in Family Budgets

Due to Bidenflation, American families have spent $3,500 more in 2021 to achieve the same level of consumption of goods and services as in previous years (2019 or 2020). American workers have lost three years of real wage growth (and about $377 a month in real wages since March), and the U.S. is tied for the highest level of inflation in the top 35 developed economies.

Newsflash: You can’t propose trillions of dollars in new taxes on job creators and think it helps the economy, and you can’t spend $5 trillion over the decade and think it doesn’t spur inflation.

The Washington Examiner editorial board points out that American families are feeling the devastating impacts of Bidenflation, and Democrats’ spending is to blame.

Key Excerpts:

“Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and their Democratic congressional majorities don’t seem to care. They keep binge spending as if drunk, while threatening to spend even more. … Now, Democratic leaders are threatening to spend $4.75 trillion more in the form of Biden’s Build Back Boondoggle bill.”

“When Biden says inflation at the retail level has just reached a peak, that’s nonsense. The worst of inflation is yet to come.”

“If policymakers just return to what once was normal — ordinary levels of spending, interest rates that are still historically low but at least in the ordinary range — then inflation will abate. Until then, when your family keeps paying 14 percent more for its daily bacon than it did a year ago, blame Powell and the Democratic lawmakers. They are the ones burning holes in your family’s budget.”

Florida Governor Ron Desantis signs Right to Farm Bill #SB88

with overwhelming support:

Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 88, Farming Operations, preserving Florida’s agricultural heritage and modernizing Florida’s Right to Farm Act which regulates agriculture throughout the state of Florida. The Governor was joined at the bill signing ceremony by Florida farmers, Senate President Wilton Simpson, and bill sponsors, Senator Jason Brodeur and Representative Jayer Williamson, highlighting the strong bipartisan support of SB 88.

Speaker Chris Sprowls (R-Palm Harbor) said, “It was a pleasure to partner with President Simpson on his passion project to protect Florida’s agriculture industry. With his leadership, Florida’s farming land remembered will never be forgotten The Right to Farm law recognizes the importance of the agriculture industry to Florida’s economy and putting food on our tables. It gives farmers the protections they need to do their job without fear of nuisance lawsuits. I’ve often said that you occasionally need a doctor, you sometimes need a lawyer, but you’ll always need a farmer – three times a day.”

Steve Singleton, owner of Singleton and Sons Farm located in Hastings, Florida said, “My family and I have been farming on hundreds of acres for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on our family motto: ‘Save your money, work hard, and be patient.’ Our values are focused on finding innovative ways to farm and combat the rising concern of food insecurity. Thank you, Governor DeSantis, for signing Senate Bill 88 into law. Now we can focus on work that matters for the farm and for our community. My sons will be able to continue the legacy of our family-owned operation without the threat of costly and detrimental nuisance lawsuits.”

Shedrick McGriff, recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Farm Family of Jackson County, Florida said, “When it comes to farming, I have a philosophy: ‘You do your part, and let the Lord do his part.’ That’s why I do everything I can to support a successful harvest season. However, the growing threat of nuisance lawsuits can be a costly distraction from our efforts to see, grow and harvest our crop. I’m grateful to Governor Ron DeSantis for signing Senate Bill 88 into law this year. This legislation strengthens Florida’s Right to Farm, allowing us to focus on what we do best: raising peanuts, cotton, peas, corn hay and beef cows!”

Matt Griffin, Recipient of the Young Farmers & Ranchers’ 2020 Excellence in Agriculture Award and a farm manager in Lake County, Florida said, “Agriculture is one of our state’s key pillars historically and economically. The industry is constantly facing old and new challenges alike and continues to try and stand tall to those presently faced. One such challenge as we know is that of the increasing threat of nuisance and costly lawsuits. These actions could unintentionally or not undermine the foundation of one of our state’s chief economic drivers. Senate Bill 88 being signed will help to ensure the longevity of Florida agriculture and Florida’s farmers, ranchers and agriculturalists to thrive. It also helps to ensure that young professionals like myself and others can be part of an industry that has a rich legacy, but also a bright and vibrant future. I applaud and thank Governor Ron DeSantis for his support and everyone that helped make this possible.”

Representative Jayer Williamson (R Pace) said, “This is a law that protects Florida farmers who are doing the right thing from nuisance lawsuits If you are breaking environmental laws this law will not give you any safe harbor.”

Janet Taylor, Glades Lives Matter, said, “Our communities depend on farming for jobs, community support, and food to feed our families. We appreciate Governor DeSantis for recognizing the farmers need to have long-term certainty so that they can continue to provide our state with jobs and food for our nation.”
