The Lisbon parcel letterbox receives parcels and general mail. You will need to mount it in a location that is easily accessible to Australia Post and couriers. This will typically be at your front boundary.

LISBON PARCEL LETTERBOX

Installation

Parcels up to 12 x 17 x 22cm can be delivered via the parcel chute. The courier simply lifts the lid up, places the parcel inside and closes the lid. The parcel will fall into the retrieval area at the bottom. A specially designed internal flap stops anyone from reaching into the retrieval area when the lid is opened.

Congratulations on purchasing the Lisbon parcel letterbox. We have designed the Lisbon to offer a stylish, efficient and convenient way to have parcels delivered securely to your home. It also receives large A4 envelopes and offers excellent security for your mail and parcels. The front door with keylock offers an easy and convenient means of retrieving your mail and parcels.

1. Mark hole locations, drill four 3mm holes.

2. Mount the parcel letterbox to the fence with the screws provided.

1. Set the lock to the unlocked code (the factory default setting is 0-0-0) or your previously set personal combination. For new users we recommend setting the code one dial at a time until you become familiar with the technique

CAREFUL - DO NOT RELEASE THE RESET BUTTON UNTIL YOU HAVE SET AND MEMORISED YOUR CODE. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY RELEASE THE RESET BUTTON THE LOCK WILL BE SET TO WHATEVER CODE YOU WERE AT.

3. Using the pin, press and HOLD the reset button down. Set your desired code (new users – set one dial at a time). Release the reset button to store your new code. Your new combination code is now set.

THE LOCATION OF THE RESET MAY DIFFER DEPENDING ON YOUR PRODUCT

2. There is a small hole on the side of the lock which gives access to the reset button. Push a pin or small nail into the hole.

- If you feel the spring of the reset button you can proceed with step 3.

- If you do not feel the spring of the reset button, rotate the lock (this will be either fully clockwise or anticlockwise depending on your product) and try again.

2. Open the rear door and unscrew the 4 x mounting nuts

Reach through the front parcel door and secure the 2 x top mounting nuts.

The letterbox can be either mounted into a timber fence, or built into a brick or block wall. You will need to install it in a location that is easily accessible to Australia Post and couriers. The recommended height for the mail slot is 90 to 120cm from the ground.

2. Slide the back box through the front of the fence. Screw it to the fence with the screws provided (for hardwood fences, it is easier to pre-drill the screw holes).

Mail and Parcels up to 16 x 32 x 20cm can be delivered via the front door. The courier simply pulls the front door open, places the parcel inside and closes the door. 2. Drill a hole (10mm diameter x 70mm deep) into the concrete oor for the mounting bolt.

Larger parcels (e.g. a box of wine) need to be delivered via the lower door with combination lock. The courier simply enters the allocated combination code to unlock the front door. The courier places the parcel inside, closes the door and re-toggles the combination. Most courier services have the provision for special delivery instructions to be included with a parcel. When you purchase an item to be delivered, let the supplier know the instruction for opening the combination lock.

Congratulations on purchasing the Leg Kit to accompany the Lisbon letterbox. This Leg Kit allows the Lisbon to be installed as a stylish and convenient freestanding letterbox that is ideal for receiving large A4 size envelopes and satchels.

4. Fit the base plate into the ends of the side panels. Note the alignment of the base plate as shown in detail. Secure the base plate with the 4 x M6 Screws.
