Troubleshoot Activation Issue of Avast Premier

Retrieve a Copy of your License – My.Avast.com Sometimes you may face activation issue during the activation step because of a license file or an activation code. You can try retrieving a copy of your license from Avast.com or your Avast Account to exclude the possibility that the activation problem is caused due to the license itself.

Activate your product – My.Avast.com After retrieving the copy of license use following methods to activate it.

Troubleshoot Activation Issue Of Avast Premier Using License File When you purchase Avast Premier, you receive an order confirmation email that contains the license file. You will have to insert the file to Avast Premier to activate the product. Open the order confirmation email.

Right click on to the attached License.avastic file to save it.

Select a location, desktop or downloads to save the file by clicking Save.

Right-click to Avast icon in your Windows system tray and select Subscription information.

Then, click to Enter a valid activation code on My licenses screen.

Click Use a license file button.

Locate the previously saved License.avastic file from the place you saved it and click Open.

Check the license details for the inserted file. If you have a license file for any interchangeable Avast Products, you can click to that option from listed items and select an alternative license from the drop-down menu. After that, click Continue to return to the My licenses screen.

Your Avast Premier license is active now. You can see the expiration date of your license under License on this PC.

Troubleshoot Activation Issue Of Avast Premier Using Activation Code

When you purchase Avast Premier, your activation code is sent in the order confirmation email to the email address that you provided while purchasing it. Now, use the following steps to activate Avast Premier in your account: o o o o o

Open the order confirmation email.

Scroll down to Activation code section of the email and copy it by pressing Ctrl+C or by right-clicking the mouse and selecting Copy.

Right click on to Avast icon in your Windows system tray and select Subscription information.

On My licenses screen, click Enter a valid activation code.

Paste activation code that you had copied, into the text box by using short keys Ctrl+V. Click Enter.

Check the license details for the inserted file. If you have a license file for any interchangeable Avast Products, you can click to that option from listed items and select an alternative license from the drop-down menu. After that, click Continue to return to the My licenses screen.

All the Avast licenses will automatically appear in the Avast Account registered with the email address that you used to make the purchase. To activate Avast Premier using Avast Account, use the following steps: • • •

Right-click the Avast icon in your Windows system tray and select Subscription information.

Click to Login to your Avast Account in My licenses screen.

Enter your Avast Account credentials, email ID and password, and click Login. You can also select to log in with Facebook or Google account using your existing Facebook or Google credentials.

Check the license details for the inserted file. If you have a license file for any interchangeable Avast Products, you can click to that option from listed items and select an alternative license from the drop-down menu. After that, click Continue to return to My licenses screen.

Your Avast Premier license is active now. The expiration date of your license appears under the License on this PC.

The unused product licenses are listed under Other available licenses in My licenses screen. In case your in-use license gets expired, you can change to another license on your current system by clicking to Switch to this License next to the listed item, and then click Switch to confirm.

While purchasing Avast Premier, you have to specify the number of PCs to activate the license and this number is specified in your order confirmation email too.

Reinstall Your Product And Activate It Again
