Our journey started in 1985 From the humblest of beginnings, we’ve pioneered and innovated cycling. Asking questions about how and why bikes are built and designed, then looking at ways of doing it better. Bike technology is constantly improving, with new technologies, componentry and materials appearing on the market every year. Our design team uses these developments, and then pushes the design and technological innovation further, keeping us in front. We proudly call this approach ‘Avanti Design Technology’ - it’s what’s given us the edge and it’s the reason why we’ve won multiple design awards, Olympic medals and, more importantly, have attracted a loyal following of bike riders along the way. Materials Frame material selection is integral in bike design. Materials have a large influence on riding characteristics, performance and durability. The 3 major material properties that affect this are its stiffness,strength and weight. Aluminium provides a light and stiff material that is easily formed to create durable frames and components. We employ forging and molding processes to create products that will perform to the highest level.

By using carbon fibre materials we are able to take our designs to the next level of stiffness and lightweight to improve your performance. Carbon can more forgiving too which reduces fatigue and improves comfort on long endurance rides.

Key Frame Technologies Tapered Fork & Head Tube The head tube is tapered to accept 1.5” bearing at the bottom of the head tube which results in superior stiffness and steering precision.

Maximum Output Differential Stays MODS chain stays offer stiffness using material only where it is required. The right stay is larger than the left adding strength and stiffness where required without any extra weight.

Vibration Reduction Stays The Carbon VRS seat stays are shaped and optimised to provide integrated vibration absorption without sacrificing efficiency.

The Right Fit Frame size and geometry are only two factors to consider when purchasing a bike. Wheel size will influence fit and feel and the overall rider experience. Popular 29” and 27.5” wheel sizes respond differently and fit riders in different ways. Small to medium height riders tend to fit 27.5” models without compromise while taller riders often get the most out of a 29” platform. The ultimate test is to take one for a ride.
