LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR Greetings division 64, Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer and is looking forward to school starting up in a few weeks. As school starts up Key Club will be back in full swing and with some additional effort we can make it a successful year for division 64! A few goals for the fall include increasing membership by enticing freshman to sign up at registration, and informing people about what the club is about‌we serve not make keys! I am looking forward to getting to know you all through club visits and through joint club, and division events. This newsletter will cover DCON, the upcoming April DCM, and a recap of a few fun service projects each school has hosted. Lets make this year great by serving our home, schools, and communities through service! RECAP: Portland Area Rally (PAR) was a blast! Officers were trained and had a fun time hearing Payton, a cancer survivor, speak about how our donations to KCCP helped to save his life! FUTURE GOALS: -each school raise 1,000 dollars for Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program -educate members about Key Club International -figure out who is interested in attending DCON so we can fundraise -attend the next division 64 DCM‌date to be determined

The divisional level of Key Club is created when multiple key clubs from the same general area are combined. Each division is overlooked by a Lieutenant Governor.

Division 64 is made up of six high schools in the Portland metro area. -Tigard -Tualatin -West Linn -Wilsonville -Lakeridge -Sherwood

PNW District The district level of Key Club is formed by combining many divisions from the same general area. Each district has a district governor who is elected at a district’s DCON.

In the midst of serene nature and fluctuating weather conditions lies the great Pacific Northwest District (PNW).The Pacific Northwest is geographically the largest district of Key Club International. The district spans from western Canada to northern California: with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and the pan-handle of Idaho in between. The Pacific Northwest encompasses nearly 1.8 million square miles and includes over 300 clubs that operate under 45 divisions. Through rain or shine, snow or hail, Key Clubbers in the Pacific Northwest dedicate countless hours to their communities and internationally, and are always Proud 'N' Willing to serve!
