From deep within the heart of Mexico came a tequila revolution, Los Arango. Created in a time when regimes were conquered and trouble roamed the lands, a master tequilero produced an authentic tequila using an artisanal recipe and poured it into a beautiful hand-crafted bottle. It was to be a gift for the revolutionary Doreto Arango, better known as Pancho Villa, who protected his fields from aggressors, and from that thankful gesture, the Los Arango Tequila range was born. Today, Los Arango is a revolutionary spirit and world-class drink, made from blue agave with a minimum 8-year maturation.

ALM Code 912582 Mexican Tequila was first produced in the 16th century near the city of Tequila. Today, there are only five regions throughout Mexico where the blue agave plant is grown, the main ingredient in Los Arango tequila. Unlike some other tequilas, Los Arango is crafted from pure agave, not blended with sugar cane. The process is very dependent upon manual labour, plants are handpicked after a minimum eight-year period, slowly steamed for 30 hours, fermented, double distilled and matured. Depending upon the tequila, maturation could involve being aged in American oak barrels for up to 13 months.

60mL Los Arango Blanco 150mL Pineapple juice 30mL Coconut cream Cherry and pineapple wedge to garnish

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice and shake well. Pour unstrained into glass and garnish with cherry and pineapple wedge.

PAINT THE TOWN RED

45mL Los Arango Reposado 15mL St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur 22mL Cranberry juice 15mL Lemon juice Mint to garnish

Combine ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice. Stir to combine and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

FIESTA FEVER

45mL Los Arango Anejo 22mL Fresh lime juice 22mL Honey syrup Dash of Absinthe Lime wheel to garnish

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass with salt rim. Garnish with lime wheel.

COCOA AMIGO

60mL Los Arango Coffee 22mL Caramel sauce 1 Large scoop vanilla ice cream Scoop of ice Pinch of salt

Combine ingredients (except salt) in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with a pinch of sea salt.
