Saint Mihal is produced in Pas-de-Calais, within the famed region of Hauts-de-France, which is renowned as a centre for specialty beer. Located in northern France, not far from England, Pas-de-Calais offers traditionally crafted, exceptional lagers that are popular with not only the locals but tourists as well, drawing them from far and wide. Pas-de-Calais has a long history with beer production. The climate and geography of the greater region which includes an abundant supply of underground water and raw ingredients such as wheat, barley and hops makes it ideal for growing grains, so it has been a natural progression for the area to incorporate beer production into its cultural identity.
