Keiki Cobra Roadster
In 2021, the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer partnered with the Kawasaki Family Foundation to build a Factory Five Mark IV Roadster - the “Keiki Cobra” - that was unveiled at SEMA 2021. “Keiki” is the Hawaiian word for “child”.
Given the Kawasaki’s Hawaiian heritage and their involvement with the Austin Hatcher Foundation, they thought it was only fitting to name the Factory Five Mark IV Roadster the “Keiki Cobra”. While building the “Keiki Cobra” the Foundation drew its styling cues from the legendary 427 Cobra with modern technology, parts and martials to improve performance and comfort. This custom build was sold in January 2022 at a Mecum Auction for $110,000.
