Average Cutting Efficiency
The height of the repeat is relatively large, and the design printed on the fabric appears to be off or not aligned properly. There is variance in the ripple, which would make the aesthetic hard to incorporate consistently on a garment or bedding set. However, on a more abstract design, it may be used liberally.

Fiber Greige Goods
Using polyester opposed to a regenerated fiber, so costs for raw materials can be reduced. I think the number of warp yarns could potentially be reduced based on the prior breaking strength testing. However, reducing the filling yarn can lead to issues for the desired end use.
Preparation
Before any kind of coloration or finishing takes place, traces of debris in the textile should be cleaned to achieve a blank canvas.
Coloration
All possible dye formulas incorporate two different dyes to achieve the blue. Each formula has approximately the same quantity of dye needed, except for the last option which uses about two times the amount. The cost of an individual dye should be considered, and how much is needed. However, there will always be waste no matter the amount of dye used.
Coloration (continued)
The color matching was done relatively efficiently, and I would not expect a problem to find a similar shade in the industry for the sake of consistency. Depending on the desired end uses, colorfastness may also be a factor to take into account when it comes to formula selection. The fabric was affected by both wet and dry crocking, but far more to wet.
Finishing Global Factors
The fabric doesn’t have any noticeable finishes. Although finishing can enhance the value of a textile, it adds additional costs to production. Doing production in low economic countries may be desired, but taking global politics into account, doing such should be executed in a sustainable, ethical, and humane manner.
