THE AU WAY We partner with top universities to provide students direct admission to graduate health science programs and pathways to professional degrees. Learn by doing. That’s the AU difference. Students deepen their understanding of science, nursing, and athletic training in specialized, cutting-edge labs. Our professors take classes on field trips to explore industries and professions. We volunteer in the community. Our students gain communication and teamwork skills by working together on class projects. We engage in dialogue with guest speakers and one another. These experiences will prepare you for what employers need. As your career path advances, AU’s Hill Center for Student Success will provide direction to ensure your growth as a student and a professional. Dedicated staff will work one-onone with you to uncover your interests, research careers, help secure internships, practice interviewing, review cover letters and résumés, and find jobs. These services continue after graduation, too. A foundation for your future.

650+ students work on campus. Our dedicated academic advisors will help you choose classes and develop a graduation plan. AU is test optional; we base admission decisions on all application information, including previous grades and coursework.
