TheAlpha UpsilonchapterofPhi Gamma Delta celebrated renewed excitement toward the University. The brothers enjoyed getting involved and benefiting the University by helping all the campus organizations in making it the traditional, friendly campus it is.
Some of the organizations the brothers were involved with included SGA, IFe, War EagleGirisand Plainsmen, upc, Spades. Mortar Board, ODK, Cardinal Key, Lambda Sigma, Squires, Phi Eta Sigma and Varsity Track.
The membersof the fraternity also were concerned about the community. Fiji communityservices included theGame Day Footbal1 Run, an annual event that required the brothers to run from Mont-
gomery to Auburn. The brothers collected pledges for each mileand themoneyraised was donated to Habitat for Humanity. In addition, Fiji's enjoyed participating in social activities, such as Caveman and Bum the House Down, which is an annual party held in memory of the fraternity's house burning in 1962. Spring quarter, the brothers wound up the year with the Fiji Island party and the Happy Birthday Hawaii party
Essentially, the Fiji's did not want to limit themselves to the fraternity, but also wanted to help the University. Along with making strides in all areas, the brothers maintained the highest levelof friendships with each other

These Fiji's help build the catwalks for spring 's FIJI Island. The brothers spent a week of preparation for a weekend of fun.
