Embodying the spirit of the early twentieth century, August Sandgren’s legacy was revived upon the rediscovery of its original founder’s extraordinary craftsmanship. August Sandgren, renowned for supplying the Danish court, left behind patterns, materials, and tools that were reimagined to meet contemporary storage needs. Guided by our re-founder and owner Pia Kirkeskov Andersen’s vision, the company now pioneers the design and handcrafting of aesthetic storage solutions.

Our production ethos revolves around craftsmanship and the use of natural materials, including European Oekotex-certified leath er and premium surplus materials from esteemed European partners in the fashion and furniture industry. This approach, merged with our design philosophy of simplicity and functionality, enhances the longevity of our products and ensures both luxury and sustainability in every piece. The use of premium materials ensures that the patina of time only enhances the beauty of our objects.

Under Pia’s direction, modern-day August Sandgren stands on pillars of respect, loyalty, and longevity, fostering an environment of learning, tranquility, and creativity. Our collection of elegant storage objects is sold through our retail partners and online. The collection only expands when we have designed something we truly believe expand and complement the existing collection - either a new colour, a new material or a new shape.
