Mark A. Thompson, Ph.D. Dean and Professor at Hull College of Business, Augusta University 2009 Top 10 in 10 Recipient
Mark proudly assumed the position as Dean of the Hull College of Business this past November. His academic tenure at Augusta University began in 2007 as the Cree-Walker Chair and then again in 2013, where he served as Associate Dean of the Hull College of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Texas Tech University and has published extensively in the areas of risk analysis, business conditions, and healthcare management. In addition, he produces the annual Georgia hospital rankings for Georgia Trend magazine. Mark previously served as the State Economic
Forecaster for Arkansas, where he provided economic and policy analysis to various state and local agencies.
Currently, he and his wife, Jennifer, live in Evans with their 14 year old son, Connor, and enjoy watching their daughter, Erin, a University of Georgia sophomore thrive at school! THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
