The history of earthquakes in Indonesia shows that several earthquakes that occur cause considerable damage, for example Padang Earthquake in 2009, Palu Earthquake in 2018, and Cianjur Earthquake in 2022. These earthquakes caused thousands of casualties, buildings and infrastructure collapsed, losses of trillions rupiah for rehabilitation and reconstruction. So, that's why it's really important to design the building that can withstand during earthquake.
