Step One: Clearing a Space

The first step to serious flower farming is to decide on a location.

Pick a large flat area that will fit at least the basic starting colors of all of the types of flowers you want to breed. To clear a loctation you are going to need an ax, or a shovel to help clear away the trees from the area. If you want to dig up a tree you are going to need to eat some fruit to give you the extra strenght to uproot a full sized tree that can be planted later. If you decide to use an axe and chop the trees down, you also will harvest some wood. You will also need to dig up the stumps left behind. Once you are satisfied with the area you have cleared, you can move onto step two.

Step Two: Gathering Supplies

The next step on the path to a beautiful garden is gathering the supplies needed. you are going to need; seeds, a shovel, and a watering can. The tools you can craft yourself using a DIY recipe and a DIY table. The seeds can be bought in Nook’s Cranny in the cabinet in the back corner. You can also use fully grown flowers found on top of the clifs. If you want to collect all of the possible varaties of flowers, you are going to need to travel to a friends island and you can visit their shops to get different types of flowers. Now this can be rather difficult, and to travel, it requires the paid monthly membership to be able to access the internet. If you do not wanna pay this, then you can just use this process on the types of flowers you are able to get ahold of.

Step Three: How to Position The Flowers

The most effective way to get your flowers to crossbreed is to set them up in a chain pattern, leaving a gap inbetween each. The new colors of flowers need a space to go. This pattern allows for this space, as well as making sure that the colors you want to be are close enough to one another. To ensure that you get your flowers planted exactly where you want them, use a shovel to dig a hole and then plant the flower. Also, as an added perk, it looks pretty too.

Step Four: Watering!

This last step is the most important of them all, WATERING! If you want your flowers to grow and breed, then you absolutly must water them. You will not get any new flowers with out watering them.

To water your flowers you will need a watering can, you can build one with a DIY recipe. You will need to water all flowers, and you will know if you are watering your flower when it has the droplets of water dripping off of the leaves.

Once all of your plants are watered, the next morning you will see new flowers! You probably won’t get a new hybrid every day, but it is a process, so don’t get impatient and just wait for your garden to bloom.
