NUO Beijing The wayfinding for NUO playfully reveals the hidden 'hand' of the scholar. Like Manuscript pages peeling from a wall, these large sheets have poetry inscribed in the reverse of the metal which is aged and rusted to hint at the past, whilst the front face is modern, new and contemporary.

DoubleTree Hilton Designed by the world renowned architect, Zaha Hadid who is known for her "powerful, curving forms of her elongated structures" with multiple perspective points and fragmented geometry to evoke the chaos of modern life. We have taken inspirations from the unique, organic form of the architectural shape of the building for the signs and graphic system for Double Tree by Hilton, Ahmedabad.

Four Seasons Kyoto Traditionally used by shops and restaurants as a means of protection from sun, wind and dust and for display of logo, the word noren is also used to describe the goodwill of a company. The simplicity and the unique form of a noren makes it an interesting inspiration and concept for a signage system.

Hyatt Regency Chuansha For the Hyatt Regency the traditional Qipao was the inspiration for both the interiors as well as the signage. the mystic knot is a twisted sheet of bronze with etched letters and an engraved traditional Chinese pattern reminiscent of the embroidery on the Qipao.

JUE YUE FU The JUE YUE FU hotel represents a ‘new brand’ for Chinese 5-Star hospitality luxury accommodation, with cultural and musical associations. The FIRST HOTEL is being built within a music academy campus and will be a centre for music, art and culture. A suite of logos has been designed to accommodate the brand as it expands to other locations.

ATLANTIS SANYA HAINAN SELLING ATLANTIS Atlantis is a fabled sunken City. Atlantis is also a Luxury 5-Star resort catering for families and pleasure seekers. For the new proposed Atlantis in Sanya, Hainan we conceived of an overall marketing concept called RAISING ATLANTIS to aid in selling parts of the property to potential investors. The brochure and marketing collateral develop and explore the idea of 'movement' and as ATLANTIS literally rises from the ocean in one gigantic splash, the story progresses through the poetry, prose and images, to create a ripple of great excitement (public areas) to smaller tremors of calm and tranquility (guest rooms and private spaces). The brochure was packaged in a custom made box lined with an alluring image of the ocean and held in place on a sprung platform so that it literally floated up as the lid was opened as though itself arising from the depths of the ocean.

ATLANTIS SANYA HAINAN The graphic devices for the raising ATLANTIS campaign, were inspired by their architecture, and the idea of a 'wondrous splash', as the fabled city arose and the crowned and crested waves beat against the shore.
