MIMI, The Wise Frog Once upon a time, under a leafy tree situated in a beautiful garden, there was a little frog MIMI who had made a cave between the tree´s roots.

The frog Mimi used to croak every day until midday.

After that Mimi went out of her cave through moss and the morning dew, hiding somewhere, looking for flies, mosquitos, worms, and ants.

One morning, while she was tuning her throat to sing, a big storm began, and drop after drop, the rain was so strong.

Hours passed, and the rain was not stopping. Mimi needed to go out to look for some food, but how could she get out of her little cave with such a storm?.

WHAT SHOULD MIMI DO NOW ?

A - Wait until rain stops.

B - Make a plan on how to get food.

After seeing the storm MIMI got a little scared and decides to wait until the storm stops.

The rain stopped after two days, MIMI was hungry and weak, But she have to go out to get food otherwise she could fall sick. While finding food she thinks “I should have made a plan and gathered some food while it was raining”

She struggles to get food but somehow manages to eat something to get her energy back and sing.

“Croak, croak, croak, ribbit, ribbit, ribbit, I am singing because I am happy, croak, croak, croak, ribbit ribbit, ribbit” THE END.

One of Mimi´s characteristics was that she never gave up easily, she actually used to hatch a plan in order to beat difficulties and reach her purposes every day.

Mimi hatched the next plan:

Number one: Search for fallen leaves outside the cave´s door.

Number two: Don´t be afraid at all.

Number three: Be really careful outside in the rain.

Number four: Tie the leaves and weave them together, making a little survival canoe.

Number five: Get on the canoe and have confidence, that the plan will work.

And so, Mimi, the wise frog, went rowing through the garden, carefully and with confidence. Rowing through puddles in the garden, searching for her usual food.

Her plan successful, that she could enjoy what she most liked to do; croaking, singing, croaking…

Moral - Taking risks is an essential part of living THE END.

Three friends There were three friends who really liked spending time together, but one of them was brown and wanted to be white. One of his friends investigated how to turn his friend into a white kid, and found out that there was a faraway town where the sea could change the skin color of those swimming in it.

He said to his friend: “I know how to turn you white” And the friend said: “Really? how?”

“We have to travel to a place where the sea can change your color” And the friend said: “So, let´s go!”

The three friends began their trip and finally reached the place they had talked about.

What a surprise when realized that the sea was a chocolate sea.

WHAT SHOULD THEY DO ?

A - They should go inside the sea and eat chocolate together.

B - One of them should go in and check if it’s safe.

They were excited, and two of them ended up in the chocolate sea, eating that delicious chocolate. “friends, come out, so I can go inside to change my color” They said: “come in, we will swim together” He went into the sea, later, when they all were satisfied, went out, and the white kids realized that they were the ones that had changed their color instead of the brown kid.

They began to cry and said: “We are so sorry, we just wanted him to be like us, God, help us to solve this, we will respect people as they are, we did not realize that what is in the heart is what matters”.

Little by little, the chocolate on their bodies was melting. They looked to the sky and said thanks to God. The kids learned the lesson.

They were excited, but one of them decides to go first and check if its safe or not.

While one white kid was swimming in the sea and eating chocolate another white kid looked at him and the brown kid and realized that how both of them were of the same color now because of chocolate and realise that all of them were the same all this time only there skin color was different and that doesn’t change how a person is from inside.

After realizing it he explained this to his friends and they agreed on it and decides to respect people as they are.

The Ugly Duckling A farmer had a duck, which laid five eggs. Soon, they all hatched. Of the five, four ducklings looked like the mom.

The fifth one was big and gray.

All the other ducklings made fun of the grey one.

Unhappy on th e farm, the poor duckling ran away to a river nearby. There he sees white, beautiful swans.

Afraid and lost, he wanted to drown in the river.

SHOULD HE JUMP INTO THE WATER? 30

A - Yes

As soon as he jumps into the water a big beautiful swan sees him and comes to save him.

He pulls the little duck from the water and asked him why he would decide to jump in the water, little duck tells him the whole story. Big swan laughs and says “You are not an ugly duckling you are actually a little beautiful swan”.

But when he looked at his reflection in the river, he realized that he was not an ugly duckling, but a beautiful swan!

Gustav and his Internet Friend There was a boy named Gustav, who liked to go on the internet a few times per week to see what his friends were up to on the social networks.

One day, while Gustav was surfing the net, by chance, a little boy from China started chatting with him. Gustav was surprised to see that the boy’s facial features were very different from Gustav’s and he couldn’t understand what this boy was writing.

Although Gustav didn’t understand the boy, he wanted to talk with him.

SHOULD GUSTAV TALK TO HIM ?

Gustav was excited, to be writing to a boy, just like him, but who lived on the other side of the world. “I don’t really understand what you are saying, but if you speak English I just wanted to say Hello,” Gustav wrote.

After a few seconds, the boy started writing back When the message arrived, they were all very surprised because the boy had written it in English.

The message said “Hi, I am from China, but I can speak a little English because I am learning it at school. Do you want to be my friend?”

And that is how Gustav became friends with another boy who lived far away. They would meet online every Saturday, and they would talk to each other about their week.

Gustav was excited, to be writing to a boy, just like him, but he said “why should I talk with someone who looks so different than me” Gustav’s parents told him it was ok to write to the Chinese boy, and they decided to sit by their son, so they too could meet this boy.

Gustav’s parents explained that this little boy lived in a very faraway country. In his part of the world, people had different facial features and a slightly different complexion, but apart from that, they were the same as everybody else.

After that they become friends.

Both Gustav and the Chinese boy understood that no matter how different people look and how far away they are, they are still people, and you have to respect and love them just the same.
