Different types of Hazmat Suits

The Hazmat suits are suits which prevent the wearer from contacting harmful substances with which they operate. They are short for harmful materials. Hazmat suits are complete suits with other protective clothes, such as lingoes, gloves, shoes and masks of breathing. There are various classifications with a different degree of protection for hazmat suits.

The levels vary between A and D and protect against various substances.

Level A The most protective suits on the market are level A Hazmat suits. They provide maximum breathing, skin and eye protection. Gases, vapors and small airborne particles are stored. These suits are very complex because they are pressurized and they have full face independent breathing devices (SCBA). The suit itself must be chemically safe and completely encapsulated. It has to contain chemical-resistant inner and outer gloves and chemical resistant steel toe boots. Depending on the application, coverings, long underwear and a tough cap below the suit are optional.
