I KNOW HOW TO MARKET MIES, AND I KNOW HOW TO TALK MIES. Globally renowned 20th c. architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe emigrated from Germany to Chicago after the forced closing of the Bauhaus School where he served as the third and final director in the early 1930s.
