Ceyhan Energy Specialized Industrial Zone

Regarding to 05.16.2013 dated and 741 numbered official letter of Ceyhan District Governorship National Real Estate Directorate, pre-allocation of 2.651.162,26 m2 surfaced area which is public property and located in the boundaries of Ceyhan Energy Specialized Industrial Zone is given to Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology for 2 years. Due to its proximity to Middle East petrol and natural gas resources, international pipelines and Iskenderun port, it is thought to be an important investment area for energy sector. The region will include integrated and large scale facilities such as refinery, petrochemical plant, thermal power plant. The preparation of the base map of the region has been completed; preparation of the geological-geotechnical survey report and other follow-up works are being processed.

Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone

One of the biggest organized Industrial Zones of Turkey, established in 1984 on 1.590 hectares of land which is not cultivable, located on the north of Yakapınar (Misis), Adana – Ceyhan D-400 main road. The zone can be accessed by highway, railway and airway. AOIZ is 28km away from Adana airport, 98 km away from Mersin Port, 80 km away from İskenderun Port, 40 km away from Yumurtalık port. D-400 State Road and TRSR railway pass on the south of the region whereas TEM highway passes on the north of the region.

Sectoral Distribution of Adana Organized Industrial Zone

There are 377 active companies in Organized Industrial Zone. As far as the distribution of companies is concerned, fabricated metal industry has the largest share with 16,7%. Then, it is followed by Rubber and Plastic with 13 % and Textile with 11,9 %.

Adana-Yumurtalık Free Zone

Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone, located at 4.500.000 m2 and has 5 km coastline, is one of the largest free zones of Turkey and world with its surface area. It is also The Zone that is the one and only project in Turkey which is designed especially for heavy industry investments such as chemical, petro-chemical, iron and steel, power plant, shipyard and cement industry. The region employed 1.267 people which are as follows, 918 personnel, 108 bureau personnel and 240 other personnel.
