Dear Sir/Madam, We have the pleasure to inform you that Husqvarna Construction’s acquisition of Atlas Copco’s Light Compaction & Concrete Equipment business now is completed. This is a logical expansion of Husqvarna’s current product portfolio within Concrete Surfaces & Floors. This acquisition will allow us to serve this industry even better and supply the market with the best equipment through the entire process from ground compaction to a finished concrete floor. The Light Compaction & Concrete Equipment business is something we believe we can do well since all aspects of light construction equipment really is a core competence of ours. Atlas Copco will during a transition period, on our behalf, continue to sell and support these products just like before. This to allow us to get fully prepared to take it over so we can provide you the support you could expect from us. So for the time being it is “business as usual”. Your Husqvarna sales & service contact will contact you as soon as all is set for the responsibility to be handed over, currently planned for during the first quarter of 2018. At that time you will be set up as a customer in our systems and we will also take over the support, service parts and warranty of products on the market. After the hand-over is completed, we will continue to sell Atlas Copco branded products but will later transition to the Husqvarna brand. Production of Husqvarna branded products is planned to start in the second quarter of 2018 and will ramp up throughout this year while we concurrently deplete remaining inventory of Atlas Copco branded products. During 2018 you can therefore expect to sell both brands, in some cases in parallel.
