Our Process

VISION & DISCOVERY

Your journey begins with an exclusive tour of available homesites, allowing you to explore the setting for your future residence. We will discuss your specific aspirations, review our floor plans and curate a vision for your home. Following this collaborative session, we will present a Preliminary Proposal outlining the initial design scope.

ENGAGEMENT & COMMITMENT

Proceed to Agreement: If the initial proposal aligns with your vision, we proceed directly to the Purchase and Sale Agreement. Should you desire an additional round of architectural changes or pricing adjustments prior to formalizing the contract, we request a $3,500 Design Retainer. This allows our team to dedicate further resources to refining your plan. This retainer is fully credited toward your home purchase upon signing.

FORMALIZING THE AGREEMENT

Once the proposal is accepted, we move to the Purchase and Sale Agreement (developed by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®). At this stage, we also coordinate with our preferred lending partner, Brant Gilmore with Truist Bank, to secure exclusive incentives available to our residents.

CURATION & SELECTION

With the contract signed, the creative process deepens. You will visit our Design Center in Alpharetta to finalize the interior and exterior details that make the home truly yours. This is where we select specific finishes—from cabinetry and flooring to lighting and exterior textures, ensuring every detail reflects your personal style.

CONSTRUCTION & REALIZATION

The build commences with a pre-construction meeting to walk the property and stake the home placement. Throughout the construction phase, we invite you to scheduled site visits, including framing and mechanical walkthroughs, to watch your vision take shape.

6 THE UNVEILING

Upon completion, we conduct a final orientation to demonstrate the home’s systems and features. You will receive the keys and a curated Homeowner Handbook detailing everything needed to enjoy life in your new residence. Welcome home!

All Arkan homes include a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
