For this renovation work at a semi d terraced house, I was given the task to produce building plan drawings for submission. This includes: plans, elevations and sections. Specifications for the drawings also need to be included and indicating which works are exisiting and which ones are the new construction.

I learned how to neatly organize my grids, my specs and any labeling.

Most importantly, I learned that in building submission for renovation works has blue dotted line for demolish works and red/pink color for new works.

PROPOSAL KELIP-KELIP KAMPUNG KUANTAN

In this proposal project, I worked with my team members to propose a newly rejuvenated Kelip - Kelip Park for Majlis Daerah Kuala Selangor (MDKS).

Stages involved in the project: - design phase

Location: Kampung Kuantan, Kuala Selangor Period of Involement: 2 weeks Task: Site visit, presentation slides, master plan.

My first task was to visit the site and study the jetty that we would be proposing to make better. We took pictures, measure the jetty for our reference and study the surroundings.

I was involved in preparing the presentation for submission and presentation day. This includes, site analysis, the proposed design masterplan, renderings and development data.

I was also asked to make a graphic representation with the renderings so the clients would have a feel of what we are trying to propose.

This is the first option for the development proposal, which is a townhouse development.

Location: Persiaran Puncak Alam 3 , Bandar Puncak Alam Period of Involement: 3 Weeks Task: Presentation slides, 3d modeling, unit layout & masterplan layout

The first involvement that I had in this project was to produce the unit layout for the townhouse. The unit is shared by two whereby lower owns by one person and the upper unit owns by another.

MASTERPLAN

After finalizing the townhouse unit layout, I had to organize the units into the masterplan. This also take into consideration of landscape, trails and main roads. We decided to have a flowy and exciting jogging trail that breaks in between each row of units.

With the townhouse as well, I had to detail out the pavements of the jogging trails and the backlanes in 3d modeling. I was also involve in designing the playground from the community park of the townhouse development.

For this proposal, I had the chance to be involve in designing and planning apartment unit layouts.

MASTERPLAN

I had the opportunity to learn about high rise development and the authority requirements needed for it to be able to be developed.

The masterplan involved with the main roads, landscape, and the position of the apartment towers.

Other than that, I was also involved in the stages of designing the podium layout.

I took part in producing parts of the 3d model for the high rise developement. It involved alot of team work and communication since the models are divided into parts and later on combined into one.

I learned alot from my team members the tips for a clean and quick modeling in sketchup.
