I am Athena Lee, A collage student who currently studying in Visual Communication. I showcase my work with my emotions and thoughts, Creating a work with a meaning behind it is what i strive for. How did it come about?

For my personal branding. I am supposed to create a logo to represent myself. Therefore i added “Athena lee� which is my name and surname and for the background is a mixture of pink,blue,black and white. Why this color?

As this color is my most love of all, as pink and blue is usually a color i showcase as my fun and playful side and for black and white is to showcase my seriousness in life.

I wanted to keep things simple yet cute and professional, so i added a sharp corner shape at the same time round corner shape to make things serious but at the same time down to earth. To show my openness in learning new things in life.

Self-Portrait design For this assignment i am supposed to create a creative self Portrait with a background on how i would want to express Myself. Using the photo i took at courtyard cafe I recreate my Self portrait to look illustrated. The reason why i chose that Picture as it represent what i like. Having a nice peaceful Environment like courtyard cafe always please my mind and Being surrounded with nature, jazz music and the wonderful Aroma and taste of coffee,pastry and bread never fail to relief my stress relief i wanted to recreate a work where i am Surrounded with the things i love.

Character Design For this assignment i am supposed to create an A3 Digital Illustration composed of me as a character and 7 likes i have.

I have created my background in a dreamy state as usually i tend to wander away with my thoughts hence the sotong on top of my head to represent my blurness. For the 7 things i added in my illustration is. Koala,Bread,Squid,Panda,Coffee,Music and tea. I have also add some of my personal favorite character like my little minster and cloud monster to represent the weird and cute things i love.

Ebi Bonito Ebi bonito was inspired by Y14 Japanese and seafood Restaurant. I call it ebi bonito as ebi as in prawn and bonito as in some sought of tuna fish. It was inspired by the song kire kire bonito- prawn. Therefore the logo i have created have a ear of a fish fin and the mouth is almost shape like a prawn. The hair of the fish boy represent the bubble foam of the bear to represent seafood and bar restaurant

Recovery Life was never easy, feelings get mixed and time helps us heal.

This artwork i have created have different meaning in it.

For the peacock feathers at the neck, represents Vision, Royalty, Spirituality, Awakening, Guidance, Protection, & Watchfulness.

For the Eyes represent the tears, showcase the unseen that was never told, all the lies and betrayal and how it finally came out.

For the leopard patter shirt represents physical strength, perseverance, confidence, power, intelligence, beauty, independence, leadership, steadfastness, swiftness, gracefulness and female mystique.

His Mind I always wonder what guys think, its always confusing for a girl to put herself in a guy shoe and for a guy to do the same way.

In my opinion, i have always think that guys think only about gaming,money, M18 stuff and working out.

If not they be too focus on their careers and hobbies ~etc~. , i just can’t comprehend on the way guys thinking.

How they keep their pain to their self to their hearts bleed how they willing to cover their ears even tho a countless of warning that some girls that they love will hurt them.

How most of the time they only cry when they are alone...

The reason why i create this artwork is to showcase jealousy,sadness and anger in a girl...

Society this days make me feel like I’m weird with false expectation of beauty and false expectation of body shapes.

I felt like i was an alien but i didn’t care. Unique is better than ordinary, flaws show at least your still real.

Some tend to forget that addiction does not just come from alcoholism or drugs. It actually comes within us our thoughts,our mind and our actions.
