Eugénie Tripier Lefranc was the niece and pupil of Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun.

A label on the stretcher reads ‘This seven year old cow fed by J. Mundy was put to feeding on the 24th January 1833 and killed on the 13th Dec 1833 weighed 155 stone 5 lbd - Milked to 22nd January 1833.’
