WHAT IS mcg? MEA Consulting Group (MCG) is the official consultancy arm of the Management Engineering Association. Through the execution of live projects from different partner organizations and clients, MCG provides students with an avenue to apply and integrate their different majors, as well as to learn how to make strategic and sustainable business decisions. This year, the focus of MCG will be in the formation of its members. Interactive workshops will be conducted to ensure that members are equipped with invaluable skills and analytical frameworks through training and mentorship with JGSOM faculty. Throughout the course of this yearlong project, the holistic development of the members will be highlighted in each project.

MEA CON SULTING GROUP

OOTP Most members of MEA Consulting Group will initially fall into the category of Applicant. MEAns screened and accepted as Applicants will have to undergo a training program with JGSOM faculty in order to learn the basic frameworks and get a grasp of the task to be accomplished. Applicants who successfully complete this process will be promoted to Consultants, who will then be deployed as teams and will take on different consulting projects with the mentorship of a faculty member. MEA Consulting Group is an intensive, yearlong project. As such, much planning, preparation, and deliberation will be needed throughout the year. MCG is thus seeking individuals who can join its Administrative Core. The MCG Administrative Core Team will consist of a human resource manager, a trainings head, a documentations head, and client relations managers. Aside from their individual functions, the AdCore Team members will also be expected to work with the ABs in making crucial decisions regarding the project. The ABs would like to emphasize that the Core Team positions will be separate from the Consultant positions. This does not prevent the Core Team from doing consulting work, however. If Core Team members wish to do consulting work, they will have to go through the training process like the regular Consultants."

WHAT IS MEA WE EK? Tambay Week is MEA’s week-long tradition that provides an opportunity for MEAns to unwind through daily games & activities. This year, MEA Week will offer something new by providing an avenue for MEA projects to introduce and promote, especially to the freshmen, as early as possible. It will not only be an event to enjoy the company of MEAns, but also a medium for projects to collaborate and show what MEA culture is all about. MEA Week will also start a new tradition for MEAns – the MEA Day, which will cap off the week by celebrating MEA in its entirety. It will showcase the success of the previous year’s projects and the possibilities of those to come.
