PAUL McKECHNIE

I play full time professional golf and will be competing on the Paul Lawrie Tour and Scottish PGA tour in 2024. Career highlights have been winning the Europro order of merit and totalling 4 televised wins on the tour. I held a Challenge tour card for 6 consecutive seasons and played a full schedule on the Challenge tour on two occasions travelling to Africa, Europe and Asia in the process. I have also competed in numerous European tour events and have played with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald, Paul Lawrie and Stephen Gallagher to name a few.

The pinnacle of my career to date was qualifying for the Open at Hoylake, an unbelievable experience even though I missed out on playing the weekend by one shot. Paul is currently ranked 3rd in Scotland after a consistent season and is representing GB&I in the PGA Cup against the Americans in the beginning of September in Oregon. Paul represented GB&I at the last match in 2022 and is looking forwards to bringing the PGA Cup back to Britain as part of the winning team.
