Mrs. Jamila received her early schooling at Al Iman Secondary School, Jos from the year 1992 to 1998. Later, in 2001, Mrs. Jamila was awarded the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship followed by Jigawa State Scholarship Board Award receivedin2006.
Mrs. Abubakar joined the University of Jos to attain a Bachelor of Education degree in the field of Educational Administration and Planning from 2005 to 2010. In the meantime, she completed her Diploma in Computer Application in 2010. In the year 2010, Mrs Jamila joined the London Teacher Training College to complete a one-year Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL)
