Vibhuti and its relation to Lord Shiva :

Every ending ensures a new beginning and Lord Shiva is the master of that change and leveling. His third eye is the eye of supremacy and wisdom which has the power to reduce everything to ashes.

Everything comes to an end, and the time comes for everything to turn to ashes. Legend says that Shiva reduced Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and the entire world to ashes. He then rubbed the ashes on his body as a symbol of supreme power and supremacy.

The symbol of ashes also means that Shiva's anger is transformed and not harmful at all. It consumes the impurities of the objects and makes them pure and shiny. Like a sanyasi wearing ratti, or bhasma, which he burns in a life of misery to distract from material pleasures and focus on liberation.

The vital fluids in the body are converted into emitted energy after being consumed through combustion by a special group of luminous deities called Bhrigu, which means the crackles of fire. Shiva is the Lord of Bhrigu, who presides over the entire process of the body.

The Rigveda Samhita states that the discovery of fire, the creation of fire, and its knowledge was spread by a caste of special beings called rishis.

Vibhuthi in literal terms :

Vibhuti comes from the word 'Vibhu' which means eternal, supreme, soul, lord of all. In simple words, Vibhu means equal to God. Vibhuti essentially refers to the supreme power, presence, and expression of God.

'Vi' means different or changed and 'Bhuti' means existence, birth, or worldliness. Thus, Vibhuti means that which is different from existence. Furthermore, the word Bhuti is derived from the word 'Bhuta' which means a living being or an eternal body. Therefore Vibhuti is that which is eternal even after the death of the body, its appearance, and its disappearance.

Eight types of vibhuti :

Vibhuti is symbolic of God, who has the power to create, manifest, maintain, and even destroy for a new beginning.

The power which manifests in nature, in human beings, in creation, and in divinity itself, has been said to be of eight types. What comes after Vibhuti is Vibhathi. Vibhathi's name meanings are Light, Power, Essence of greatness, or Aura of perfection.

The eight powers of Vibhutis are as follows.

•Animan- The power to become small

•Attainment the power to receive

•Prakamyam - the power to manifest desires and fulfill desires

•Laghiman - the power to be extremely light

•Ishita lordship, great power and the power to exercise or command

•Vashita The power to enchant, hypnotize, subdue

•Mahimana - the power to become majestic or increase in strength and size

•Kamavasiath - the power to suppress or control desires

CONCLUSION :

We are born from ashes and we fall into ashes. Hindus consider fire to be holy and whatever touches the fire also becomes holy. This is the reason why Hindus do not bury their loved ones who die but perform cremation to purify them. After cremation, the impurities of past lives may remain temporarily but ultimately only the soul, the Vibhuti, remains, which is eternally pure.
