Springtime

Running across rolling green hills, I chase the lamb soft clouds, Cresting a knoll, I come across a flower-speckled meadow. The wind caresses my hair, carries the scent of jasmine, And the Earth comes alive with the song of the sparrows. Dandelions drift through the air, carrying those wishes of mine. Clamor and despair leave me as I meander through the fields, Coming across a deep green forest, I enter without doubt.

The sun shines through the openings of the trees

Illuminating the ground with crystalized sunlit patterns

The cool, crisp leaves blowing in the wind, danced like clouds floating in the abyss

As below, the deer are happily bouncing, and the animals awaken from their long winter’s nap

And the warm, fuzzy moments of Springtime come flooding back to me as I lay on the flowerbed reminiscing

The beautiful flower bed

Which has many sensitive smells

That permeated outside

Felt like I was in heaven

I lay down and watched

The sunset looked like a painting

I was enjoying the day

Which was relaxing all day

While I was watching

The wind was cool

I like the soft breeze

But not too much, only a little bit

Kind of cold, but not too cold

So I wore my soft green hoodie

Then I saw an endearing little rabbit

Hopping through the flower bed

Rabbit hops it’s gentle hops

The lark sings its lyrical songs

The flowers open their tops

Righting winters wrongs

Mother hen protects her chicks

White cherry blossoms in bloom

The Crickets click

No snowy clouds to loom

A kitten chirps her tiny mew

The child blinks her eyes

The birds coo

The cloud no longer cries
