The mystique of Wyoming and its abundance of varied wildlife and habitat motivated my first reference trip west from native Minnesota. This was a time before Jackson had a stop light and I camped out of my beat-up station wagon. Through the ensuing decades of change, the allure has been unwavering – the magic of the Teton Range, bugling elk, sagebrush covered flats, exotic pronghorn, rolling plains, magnificent bison, stately bighorn, Yellowstone and Teton National Parks, etc. – along with my passionate commitment for portraying the wonders I first observed in Wyoming. Painting this series brought back nostalgic memories of my many visits to Wyoming.
