The Jackson County Continuum of Care (CoC) is a community-wide effort with the main goal to end homelessness in Jackson County Michigan by providing stable housing for those in need and offering preventative services to those at risk of becoming homeless. Part of their work includes deciding how to allocate their funds to different people and groups within their community to best support their efforts to reduce homelessness. They work to achieve their goal through collaborative efforts and resources from all sectors of the Jackson County community. The CoC positively influences the health and well-being of the Jackson County community by providing critical services and resources to keep its residents off the streets and in a safe home.
By understanding patterns in eviction data from the Jackson County Continuum of Care and population data from the US Census, the CoC can drive change both internally and externally. Internally, the CoC can use the analysis to better understand why eviction and homelessness
